This is a movie of our beloved Daschund Belle after her first visit to The Care Center. Belle was a healthy, playful, and very active little puppy. She loved to jump on the couch, chairs, and up on the bed. One day we came home and found her cringing in pain and unable to move from her middle back down. She could not walk and was in so much pain we could not even touch her. We immediately took her to our veterinarian and they advised us that she had ruptured her back and that there were no options. They gave her something to help with the pain and sent us home. After a few days we decided to do research on the internet and there we learned of our biggest mistake. We should have taken her for emergency surgery but at that time it was to late. This is when we found out there were many support groups with similar stories. We found The CARE Center and are so grateful to all they have done for Belle. From the moment we walked in we knew this is where we wanted to send Belle. The facility was very relaxing for us and Belle felt at home from the beginning. She is not back to walking yet but she is doing much better and is pain free. She is back to being happy which was very important to us. This video was taken summer 2005 and was her first beach trip in her new cart. Thank you Dr. Glinski and staff for taking Belle in as your own and being there for her on her road to recovery.
